trim pump hose through hulls
We are rigging twin 300xs on a 32' Midnight and are trying to find through hulls for the trim hoses. Our original plan was to run the hoses down through the bracket then through the transom, but could not find the correct fitting to go through the top plate of the bracket for the Mercury crimped hose fitting on the end of the trim hose. Now we are thinking about just routing them straight through the transom, but need some sort of fitting to get through. Not a standard through hull, but a something that the hose could go through and be sealed. Any ideas? Or if anyome knows where to find a fitting to take the hose through the top plate of the bracket, that would be even better.

yeah, perhaps those compression through-hulls that are sold for the morse 33-c used for trim indicator cable;its close to the same diameter; i think rex marine, hardin or teague sell the fittings; had 'em on my old scarab and they looked and worked great. good luck -jeff

these are the hoses we could not find the fittings for
We ended up just fabricating our own through hulls
Mark, I would be interested to see how they did your Concept if you have time to take pics.

Thanks for the photos.
Is the black thing the trim hoses go through watertight? How do the hoses go through your transom in the bracket?
Looks like Concept does a really nice job.

The black thing is water tight. I used one on my hydrostream. They work real well. Looks like they have hard line going around the tilt tube?

No more pics neccessary, just trying to see how everybody does this riigging thing. Getting the engines hung on the transom is the easy part. It is the rest that is complicated.
Thanks again
