I THINK ENGINES ARE RICH..YOU THINK?
32 BAJA TWIN 454 MAGS
FRESH 32 HRS NEW REBUILD CARBS FROM GUY ON EBAY, THEN I HAD SOME ONE ELSE LOOK AT THEM, HE REBUILT THEM TOO NO CHANGE. ENGINE IDLE FINE
RUN GREAT TOP RPM IS 48-4900 24 PITCH 4 BLADE

by my view of your pix it kinda looks like some oil/hydraulic fluid; BTW tell me about your rear steering/tie bar arrangement. -jeff

bet a dollar those fan looking spray marks are from a leak in your hydraulic steering.. if it was too rich, you'd have a black LINE around the hull (waterline).. this looks likeits spraying the transom each time you force the wheel to full lock.

wait, itd have to be that, because you wouldnt have black stuff like that UNDER the water if you have ABOVE water exhaust.. see what Im sayin.. the steering system is underwater, along with the black stuff..


edit: or is that EVEN hydraulic steering.. whats the setup your running, its got me all confused now.. looks like a tie bar with hydraulic reservoirs on it.. maybe its a stabilizer?

How about some better pictures of that tie bar. Something is fishy there.
