Default Aluminum Heads Paint or Not?

Installing a new set of Aluminum Canfield heads and I would like to leave them raw aluminum. What have you folks experienced when not painted? This boat is salt water and fresh use. Should I paint them or not?

Ghit,
Cannot answer your question directly, but if you do decide to paint them, we have had very good luck with Seymour's Dull Aluminum engine paint. Looks almost like the raw aluminum, yet helps protect from corrosion.

I have two sets of Canfield's, I did not paint them. They are approx. 5 years old and still look great.... I hope you like them, I think they are GREAT...

Your gonna have enough corrosion on the inside. Why kill yourself trying to keep up on the outside. Paint them or as was said clear them.
