Refill the new ones about 3/4 of the way with fuel before you screw them on. It will save a lot of cranking time when you restart it.

My plan is to just unscrew it fill it 3/4 full of gas then reinstall new. Did I miss anything? Do I have to do anything to gasket? I know my buddy changed his a few months ago and had a problem with vapor lock. Anything I can do to avoid that from happening?

Make sure the old rubber gaskets come off with the old ones...check flanges with your finger...dab a little oil on the new ones and hand tighten...don't have to f with priming the new filter...it will purge instantly...have extinguisher near by for safety.
