Default Ran over rope! Won't start :(

Took my friend and his son for a quick ride in the new donzi 16. Idling towards dock, my rear rope had fallen in the water, wrapped around the prop and stalled the motor. Idiot move for sure

After removing rope, engine will fire up but die instantly no matter if fast idle is used or not, primed or not...
any help would be great.
it is a 2005 merco 5.0L carb, stock
thanks

Alpha drive?? If so - check the shift interupt switch and make sure it's centered in neutral...

I don't know your solution, but that's exactly why my handling lines are floating lines.

Good luck.
