Valve Covers
Looking for options on a new set of valve covers for a buddy of mine. He had a midwestern engine shop build up his '96 330HP 7.4L's with Brodix aluminum heads, Merlin single plane intake, roller cam, roller rockers, and CMI E-tops. The shop butchered the stock valve covers to get them to fit and now they are leaking. What options are out there that will clear the rocker arms and headers? The shop powder coated the stock covers Merc blue and he would like to stay with that color if possible. Thanks.

I have KE 2 piece covers. Look great, clear rockers easily, BUT they leak really bad. I have to silicone them shut to stop the leaking. So much for easy thumb wheel removal.

The rails are bad .... There was a production issue when KE did not have control of the company .... You can buy new rails and O rings and be good to go ...m

Next thing I have to do is figure out how to rig an overflow bottle to the breathers. When I beat it up for a long time, I get a bit of oil spewing from the breathers. I hate oil leaks!! Anyone got any pictures of their set up?
