Default used roller rockers

are used roller rockers (crane gold) a bad idea? it's a trusted seller, approx 250 hours on them, rollers have no wear

I would think its not worth it. The needles are small and condensation collects under valve covers. Some people consider them throw away items at 250 hrs. Crane used to recon them don't know if they still do.

I was never a fan of Crane Gold rockers. I have used Comp Pro Magnums with great success. As far as stud mounted rcokers go, I feel they are much stronger than Cranes, due to the bigger bearing.

This winter I switched from Pro Magnums to T&D's. I am very optimistic about them.

If you're putting them on your stock 330's, its a waste of time and money for ZERO performance gain. Either way, I wouldn't put on used ones.

Just read your other post and saw you're building some 496's. I wouldn't skimp on the valve train using used rockers.
