That pricing is closer. The only way you are spending a ton of money is if you are letting them port and polish your heads, which is BS, because you should be finding someone with a CNC machine to do a better job for half the price.

Thats about what i spent, but the only thing left stock is the blockwell not really take about 2500.00 off

J&E pistons $550. Total seal rings $150. bearings $160. Roller lifters $450 roller cam $260 push rods $100. pair of rectangle port heads $1000. Dart Intake manifold $350.Carb $500.
Times 2 motors

Even $500 for machine work and $500 for assimbly your still at $2ooo for 2 motors.
