I am using the Aeromotive black pump with a 3/8" feed line to the regulator, and a 1/2" return line to the tank. We also tried a bunch of differnt disks with no luck.

Line size should be the other way around....Also are you getting full boost signal to the regulator? I amm assuming you have a dedicated line to the FMU....If not do this first and check your boost signal is clear. Are you running a boost guage? how do your plugs looks? If all is good then you have a problem with the FMU sticking or a fuel pump going south. Is this a new install? or is it one on a boat you bought? Who originally set it up? has it ever worked properly?

The fmu procharger uses is junk....they stick and are very unreliable

I bet I got a spare regulator laying around. I dunno if that will solve your problems but might be worth a try. Mine worked. It did stick a little like Bryan said. That was usually to the rich side when I throttled back. Overall my transom stayed pretty clean.

My aeromotive pump got weak and wouldn't achieve 65#. A new pump jumped up to 70# at the same setting.
