Default R&r Products 496 Impellor Kit

We Sell These Kits To All Of Out Customers At Redline Speed & Marine In Lake Havasu City, Az. They Work Great. Its More Affective Than Just Resurfacing The Housing. Most Housings Are So Bad You Cant Surface Anymore Off Of It. I Recommend These Kits To All Of Our 496 Customers, They Work Great.

Well I hit the lake yesterday and I maintained the correct temps and had no alarms so I am happy with the kit so far.

I used that kit from R&R last summer, worked real smooth. Just follow directions. There should be an old thread explaining. I took info down to local merc tech after I did to let them know about it. The housing was made out of brass, which is very soft, right? Brass sure has not gotten any cheaper in last yr.

Default pumps

Does anyone know if R&R or redline will allow me to mail them my old pump and they can rebuild it and send it back with the kit.

I am sure they would do it but the process is very simple, if you can get the pump out of the boat by yourself you can certainly install this kit.

I installed the R&R kit a year ago and it's worked well. I'll be interested to see the difference in wear compared to the brass, next time I replace the impeller.

A couple of pics would be nice to get a visual.

I think post #6 above does a good job of showing the kit.

Pic's in photo #6 come with the kit. Maybe the simplest thing you can do on engines. Go for it - you will know your equip better afterwards!
