I use to use magic erasers, but my friends that do interiors for OEM marine companies, Sea Ray, Ranger, Crownline and many others say that the magic erasers with their abrasiveness takes the UV stabilizers off the top of the Vinyl. And I better use a vinyl UV stabilizer to protect it afterward.
I did love how they cleaned everything.

My son is a rep. for a number of companies that manufacturer cleaning products and the new buzz is using peroxide in cleaning products.
He gave me a bunch of cleaners that all contain peroxide and they work well plus the're sort of enviromentally green which is also a advertising buzzword.
Also.........
The guy that reskinned all my boat cushions/seat etc. said to use mineral spirits to clean the cushions.

Anyone have any ideas for removing tree sap from Vinyl? Had the boat in the driveway for a cleaning and it got tree sap spots on the seats. Very small spots that look a little yellow. Not real noticable to most people but I see them.

I work for a major food company and Peroxide is one of the best cleaning agents that we use, although I have never used it on my vinyl. I agree the Magic Eraser works well, but it almost seems to scuff the vinyl. Last year someone gave me some ZEP Vinyl Cleaner, and this stuff worked awesome.
