Default Livorsi GPS speedo problem

My boat has been stored for 5 months. I have a Livorsi Monster GPS speedo with recall feature. The needle is now stuck at 35 mph. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with my Gafrig. I called the technician, and they told me 90% of the time its gauge itself. The other 10% its the reciever or gauge or both. Unfortunately its about a $300 charge for the guage. I'd recommend a Garmin NUvi GPS unit you can use in the car for navigation as well as good maps of lakes with speed and direction for right around $200.

I had the same issue with my Gafrig as well. THe gauge would go through it's normal sweep then come back to about 33MPH and sit there. In my case it ended up being the gauge. I went down to Livorsi and tested it in a car. They replaced the guts of my gauge alls ok now. Do you have access to another antenna or put your speedo in another boat to verify the gauge/antenna?

How old is it and can you get it to us? We will take it to Livorsi for you to see what the issue is and see if we can't help get it repaired.

Let us know at:

We are at Livorsi a couple times a week.

Which Nuvi do you have? I have the 260W model and didn't think it'd do anything on the water other than show MPH, no mapping?????????
