Just dropped in a 600hp"need prop"
I have a 288 sunsation and this week I pulled the 496HO and dropped in a custom built 600hp+ 540 motor. I am thinking 28 or 30 4 blade anyone have any other suggestions?

if it lists to port, try putting a torque tab on the skeg....changing to LH may only change the direction of the list.......I would start with a 28p Bravo 1

Congratulations on the new power. Who built your engine? What did you do with the take out? I am thinking of doing something similar with our boat. I am not sure if supercharging our 454MAG or upgrading to a NA 540 is the best route. I am confident 600HP is where our famiy truckster needs to be. A 28 B1 labbed is where I would start to pull 5500RPM in most weather conditions with that power and hull. However my opinion is novice at best.

28 B1 stock or 30 B1 labbed.
Mine is a 26 outlaw (5200lbs) with 600sci spins a 28 great right out of the box. Stock 30 B1 was a little too much. Labbed the 30 and it's working well.
