If we are talking offshores (which I would assume) I will go ahead & throw my Guess in what has potential to be a long & very ammusing thread & answer with a serious answer before all the fun starts & say John Haggin.. Followed by Dave Scott

Aside from race boats and LSR boats, someone just posted some video of a Skater with BIG piston engines. IIRC, it broke 200.

There are more than a few boats in the 180-200 mph range on here. But, that's not the point of OFFSHORE. Nobody runs 180 in offshore water. If you want to compare flat water speeds, Villwock had Miss Budweiser to 230 and TFH's have broken 250. IMO, offshore is running fast in big water.

Someone is always faster. Unless you're Warby.

How about privately owned boats? Most of the ones here mentioned are corporate or race boats.

Ginos, Zastrows, Plyburn and a select few others are the fastest privately owned boats.

Geico and Bud are both privately owned. I'm just saying.
