Alarm sounding on 350 MPI

Alarm sounding on 350 MPI
My friends boat (Bayliner) with a 2004 350 MPI is getting an continuous alarm sounding and it will barely come off idle. Boat was running fine until he hit some semi rough water. Then started to act up. He changed the fuel filter and boat ran good for about 20 minutes then did it again.
Shut it off and it will start right up and run excellent for about one minute, then the alarm sounds and starts running bad again.
Engine is not getting hot, oil pressure and temp gauge read normal. I pulled the wire from the oil and temp senders one at a time and made no difference. I also checked all obvious power and ground wires for clean voltage. All checked fine.
Question: Are there any other sensors that will make the alarm sound? Fuel pressure?
Any suggestions of thing I can check with a standard DVOM.

We topped it off. I've been bitten by that one before.
This is a continuous sound. Drive oil is supposed to be intermittant. Acording to the operators manual.

It could be the oil pressuer sender, its the small brass one
The water temp sender could be bad
I think you can disonect the wire to them the alarm should go off,telling ya which on is bad

Any of the following faults can cause a constant alram;
ECT Overheat
Low Drive Lube
Low Oil pressure
Low Seapump Pressure
Engine Overspeed
Sometimes the only way to find out which one is causing the alarm is to connect a scan tool and view the active faults and fault history. You might get lucky and be able to figure it out by disconnecting and reconnecting sensors, I never really tried that.
Keep in mind when you get a constant alarm the Available Power may be reduced to as little as 6% (barely idles) or even to 0% (engine stalls), so that could explain the poor engine performance during alarm events.

I had a similar issue with a constant alarm due to my bilge gas fume detector. The sensor got wet and crapped out. If you got that system, Id check that as well. (It doesnt have any relation to engine running, but will sound constant with batteries on.)
