Default Bellows Question

I know this should normally go in Drives section but this gets more traffic.

When reinstalling the Bellows is it critical to have the wire insert that winds around the inside of the bellow?

Everything else went back together relatively smoothly but this thing looks like it will be a major pain.

Thanks,

Eric.

Eric dont know if its positively necessary, seems it might help make sure ujoint never contacts boot, but if you just start the inboard end and wrap it into the crease to the back its not bad I just did both of mine Randy

I'll do it tonight - trying to do it last night at 9oclock without a light in the dark while it was raining was frustrating me.

Thanks.....
