Kirk,
Are you sure the motor mounts are different?
I'm curious as well as I am building two MkIV tall decks to replace my 496HOs and am under the impression that the pad type mounts are the same 3 bolt pattern.

(can't wait to get those pretty Sport Tubes in there ;o))

I think the blocks are different and the exhaust. Some one on the board has had to performed this.

Wink Keep the 496

Not trying to bang my own drum here, but for about $9K installed by you the 496 with a Raylar 103 kit will run away from a 500EFI. Add a set of Dana header exhausts for about $2500 and at 570HP the 496 will be a much better financial and power investment. Just my obviously biased opinion, but most guys know I am a straight shooter.

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

Ray... Ray..... Ray!!!!! You have to stop teasing us with that kind of talk...I dont have enough paper towel to wipe off the drool...and I cant find the mop!!! I am seriously interested in the 103 kit for my 496 ho and was wondering what the power numbers are without the headers......can you fill me in?? What headers work best with you packages??
Thankx,
mike
