Anyone know the capacity of a WIX 51060R oil filter?
I have 10qt pans and need to put exactly 10qts in the pan and then cut the dipstick to indicate correct level.
Just curious to know how much more oil I need to fill the filter?
By the way fleetfilter.com has them for a fair price with a discount for larger orders.

Summary of article on oil filters:
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...n27062613/pg_1
Author found:
-Wix Racing seam leaked.
-Mobil-1 quality varied based on model number.
-The new Fram HPa Cellulose Filter ($20ea) is much improved.
-Looks like Baldwin is holding it's own.
-The Amsoil Ea was his preferred choice hands down.
My .02..I feel the Amsoil EA and Fram HPa are ones to strongly consider.

Funny(haha) I paid a little over six bucks each for them last week.
I purchased 24 and also received a %15 discount.
Of course shipping soaked up the discount...
