If you are talking about the one that goes with the 454/502's I wouldn't do it again. I didn't see any gain other than a cleaner transom.
Also it was posted quite a while ago that with that big airfilter you can get too much air at idle. I had to adjust mine just a bit, it actually loaped like I had put in a cam when it warmed up.
That was my experience. Like I said, I liked the cleaner transom, but for $1k I don't think it was worth it.

I had one on my old PQ 280. It had a 502mag efi. I put the kit on the boat and I too got a cleaner transom.
I did it in steps to gauge the gains.
The Flame arrestor made the best / only improvement.
The ECU DID allow me to tweak the props to run 5000+ but I wouldn't do it again 'cept for the flame arrestor.
