I keep breaking Hi perf gimble rings. 2 This summer. They break down at the trim rams. How good are the Cast stainless steel ones? Has anyone else broke gimble rings time after time?

Bawana,
I have not heard of others breaking gimbals as a common problem. I assume you have looked at all the components in the transom assy to make there isnt anything wrong there?
I know a lot of my customers have switched over to the Imco gimbal ring and helmet. They are much beefier than the Merc and dont cost that much more. You might want to try one if you need to replace it any way.. PM me and I can shoot you a price..
