The highest ZDDP Synthetic I can find

Which oil is going to help more because I don't get operating temps above 170 degrees? I have been changing out more frequently because of this. However, I was wondering if a oil like Mobil v-twin would be better with lower operating temps?

I would suggest just the opposite. And as others suggest, maybe getting a thermostatically controlled oil cooler on as a winter project.

Kendal used to have the "green" color till they were bought by another oil co a few years ago. I will tell ya 4-5 years ago I was having some problems keeping some crower roller lifters together and I was running Mobil 1 20-50 or Amsoil Racing. Dave Crower had me switch to Kendal GT and the failures went away. Back then he related the diffence in oils as being the amount of zinc.

I did an exhaustive search for the Kendal Axle grease written up in the Powerboat article and it turns out Kendal is owned by Shell oil and is marketed as their premium brand. PITA to get the grease BTW.

Teague was a huge Kendall guy until his Amsoil sponsorship came along. Nothing wrong with Kendall. It is a good conventional oil.

The new Amsoil Racing 5w-20 is
phosphorus------------1509
zinc---------------------1676
The racing 15w-50 uses the same additive package with just a base change to adjust the viscosity. Should be a good one.
