mechanical advance for my slow boat

I'm trying to find the total mechanical advance of my (partybarge )'87 bayliner 2450 with OMC 305 original single point ignition.

I'm only showing 6 degrees total. That seems too low.

Can anyone help me out?

You right. It's way too low. You should be around 16-20. I'm thinking the small blocks had 20 degrees.

Probably rusted together underneath the distributor, I had points it was under there, had a Sea Ray 240 SRV that did that to me. 12 degrees at idle and 12 degrees top end.
