Well actually not new, just reconditioned.
I have a 2000 7.4 MPI and had to buy a set of rebuilt heads and I am ready to install this weekend... my question is what to do about paint?
I run my boat in salt and it sits on the water all year round in Queens, NY. I have a really bad problem with corrosion and the new heads I got are not painted at all.
So do I just go and buy some engine paint or do I need to get a special primer and paint to make sure these things will last.
I am going to have to refinish the valve covers as well.
Any insite would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you....
Brian

Thanks Rob... yes the engine is black and I figured I would have to hit them with a coat of paint... do I need any primer or just a couple of cans of black engine paint?
