I am in the process of rebuilding a pair of 575 SCI's . So far, everything is going well. My question is the oil pump pick up. I plan on using Melling M77HV pumps, but what pick up matches the stock ones? Mellings website lists a bunch of pick ups, just not sure which is correct.

I prefer the 10770 or 10778. the 770 is a press in shaft shaft style & the 778 is a screw in. Keep the high pressure spring in. Much nicer oil pumps but only a few bucks more.
The 77HV dont keep good pressure in a marine application in my opinion.
