I ran the boat again last night and did alot better. I actualy spent time adjusting the trim and found the sweet spot of the boat. My top speed was 99 @ 5500 with a labbed 32 bravo. I still need more prop. I will try a buddys Teague 33 this weekend. I also need to work on my hood a little more. I did not finish the under side because I though it might be a little close to the belt. It is, here are a few pics.

Excellent job. The boat looks and runs great.
As far as the batteries, I do not like the Optimas. I have yet to have one last much more than a year. I switched to Odysseys a few years ago and absolutely love them. They aren't cheap, but they are damn near indestructable. They can be mounted in any position, including upside down. May want to look into them if you are worried about the Optima's leaking.
Congrats, it looks great.

Thanks Eddie, I am going to keep a eye on them. If they have a problem, Oddyssey will be next. I have not had any problems with them in the past. It seems you get a good one or a bad one.

Wink Success! is sweet!

Great job and great results with an excellent upgrade and fantastic workmanship by you. I know its going to drive you crazy trying to get that 1 more mile per hour, but considering even GPs has an error factor, you may have already reached that 100MPH mark and not even realized it! Be happy, boat safe and enjoy your season and boat.

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

Thanks Ray. I think I have 5mph or 6mph left on the table. I will keep everyone posted. By the way this boat handles and rides like a 25. It feels steady as a rock at 99mph.
Do I qualify for a Tshirt yet?

Get creative with the camera angle and you're at 100 mph . You are really flying now. Congrats.

Wink Ejection seat

Daytona 22:

You get another 5 mph out of that bad boy and you can definitly have a shirt but you may need a parachute to wear over it!!
No fool'in though, make sure you have a lifeline type jacket on at those speeds, I know the boat feels like its on rails at 99mph, but you hit a small roller or dip at those speeds at the wrong moment and you could end up out of the boat and the jacket can save your life and keep your insurance company from paying all that money to your grieving widow! Water is like concrete at 99mph!!
BE SAFE!! Happy hunting!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

I got a little more testing done. I added a 1/2 drive spacer to see if it helped or hurt my setup. It hurt me by 3mph and did not plane any better. I removed it last night. I have a 33 bravo comming from a friend. If it pulls it well I guess the 34 is next. I will keep everyone updated.
