Biggest HP on pump gas?
Who is running the most HP on pump gas (93 oct.)? And what is the setup? reliability? Thinking of having new motors build and want to do some investigation?

I do a 598ci NA that makes 750-770 hp and a 598ci that makes 1200 hp, both on 93 octane. I can do either with a carb or efi.
Here are some pics of a 1200efi. The 750 pics are on another computer. You can see them at www.YoungPerformanceMarine.com
Let me know if I can help you in any way, Eddie.

My Taylor Performance Engine dynod out at 1036 HP using standard Etops with 93 octane. With Big Etops or Big tubes, probably had another 30 HP or more in it.
TPI builds a great engine. http://www.tpboats.com/
Young Performance does also, just posting my personal experience.

Eddie,
Do the NA 750-770s dyno that number with the E-Tops?
I'm building a pair of 588s and have Sport Tubes. I was thinking the Sport Tubes would limit me to about 700 or so.
Just curious.
Thanks,
Dave

1400+ on 93 octane and metanol injection. Other wise we dynoed at 1150 on 93 octane only. I have been told 1200 is about it on pump gas. That is assuming you have all the right parts (the right engine builder) and big cubic inches.
