intakes
I would use a dart single plan air gap style intake, that s what i have ,i had a edelbrock air gap and i gained some mph and rpm out of the dart, but the dart was also port matched to my heads.

We have had exceptional results and great feedback with the Dart intake, alot of people really like them for the power and the Brass water jacket. Let me know if I can help http://www.cpperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=3913

CP,
I think you meant the Merlin intake with the brass inserts (same as your link). From my dyno testing experience, he Brodix HV-2001 and the Merlin make very similar power. We think the slightly more expensive Merlin offers the best value due to the brass inserts.

I doubt an intake change alone is going to be worth that much. At best, probably 10-20hp which translates to 1 mph.
What engines anyway??????? 454/502mags that have been warmed over??? Have you upgraded the stock exhaust??? cam????
