bravo end cap bolts
I purchased a hydraulic steering system which comes with studs but the studs are a little short. It is a bravo one drive has anyone used the stock end cap bolts instead of the studs. The stock end bolts catch about a inch of thread.

Are you talking about the back cap where the steering arms mount on to? If so, I use bolts. 3/8" UNC SS about 2.5" from memory. There are only holes for three bolts in the drive though so you have to drill the lower two side holes with a special bit.
If this is what you need, I have a photo I can post here if you'd like?

I'm not sure what UNC stands for I have some 3/8 studs but have no idea what stregnth they are. I have a Hardin marine end cap and not sure if I could drill the two extra holes. Thanks. Jeff
