Not to long ago two people were asking about airflow numbers on the Canfield heads. Here are some numbers on the exhaust ports 1.880 valve @28 h20 310 cc head fully ported.
...lift.....................cfm
.200....................132
.300....................186
.400....................228
.500....................256
.600....................280
.650....................295
.700....................310
.800....................326
.900....................330......350 w/pipe
I sure nobodys using a camshaft that lifts the valve .800 or more lift in the marine world, but to me these numbers are incredible. I have a new respect for Canfield

Marty,
Big M 1.880 exhaust no pipe
...Lift...............cfm
.200................135
.300................181
.400................240
.500................275
.600................294
.700................305
.800................311
I still would use the Big M or the Pro ones for a marine engine, the number are fatter in the mid lift area.
The intakes flow 415

I just replace the heads on my HP500's with Canfield Aluminum heads (110 cc chambers) and picked up 5 mph and a bunch of mid range acceleration in a 38' Fountain. I'm impressed.
