These aren't drag race engines. Duration in the mid 260's will give you a power peak around 6500. A good cam for your rpm range would be the old Crane 651. 244 int. 256 ex. .630 lift, 114 lsa. but only if you are keeping the GM iron heads. Modern aluminum heads won't want that much duration.
