Getting mine back from the dealer after a post first year warranty check up and they said all is fine and up to date recall wise. I bagged 127 hours last summer on mine and never had a problem in any area. Not to say it couldn't happen. Spare CPS may be a good idea...

Kentz,
I heard about the Merc TSB on the "engine may not shut-off" when my boat was being built. PQ checked into it and my motors are not affected.
Had something to do with a wiring harness problem. They have to add a wire somewhere I think?????

I have not had any more issues after the pushrods were replaced. I put 50 hrs on them. Just curious. I'd rather have "won't turn off" then "won't start"

Will they shut off if I run 'em out of gas
