Which carb is better suited for marine use? Someone on the board had some demons on a fountain and did not like them why? The application would be for 510" 575 at 5600-5800r's Thanks, the Ironman.

I run 775 race demons on my tunnel rammed 632. No real experience with non Dominator Holleys, my advice is to stay away from Dominators..very tough to tune unless you have a "Nickerson" do it for you. As for the Demons I've been very happy with their performance, esentially out of the box. I gave the tech guys all my specs and they nailed the set-up, only had to do a Jet change. One thing to watch if you go with Demons, Lock tight the base plate screws....that could have cost me big but fortunately it was caught in time. If you look at a Holly next to a Demon its quickly apparent which carb is engineered better. My .02...
