Default Dominator OVERFLOW Problem

Does any one have any experience with float adjustment? I have had two mechanics besides my self adjust my dominators on my boat and have not had any luck. They will set and run for about 10 minutes then it will start flooding over. Only the rear engine on the staggered twins. It was set and ready to go this week end. I drove to the poker run in A-Bay, NY and didn't even make it out of the marina. (That was a waste of $1000 for the weekend.) I have purchased fuel regulators in the hopes that the fuel pumps are putting out to much pressure. Is there a set psi I should run at? They are 540ci 700hp motors. Please Help!!
I'm open to suggestions.

I'd set it at 8psi and leave it. What pumps and regulators do you already have?

I have the mercury mechanical pumps. I just ordered holley max flow regulators.
Does the psi change with throttle?

The stock Merc pump shouldn't need a regulator.

need to ck the fuel pressure at idle, 6-7 then with the side plug removed adj the float so that the fuel just runs out of the site plug...if keep flooding pull the needle and seats look for trash, etc, replace with the good viton needles, don't need the all brass.. Rob
