water in oil 525s
42 fountain staggered 525s one motor last year had water in the oil preasured checked the oil cooler and headers and found a crack in the header.I called cmi and instead of having them welded we orderd a new set.I did the obvious changed the oil a couple times untill it was clean then ran it two hours and we were good.I ran the boat saturday and checked my oil I was up over the full mark by a quart or a little more and it was milk.changed the oil twice again but I am not going to start it I dont want to lose it.Question could it be a cracked tail pipe. The anti freeze is fine so I no its raw water. Please help

Usually oil keaks out of a coiler not water leaking in. Check it anyway though because I ahve seen water get into a transmission that way.
Goo luck, Except for exhaust, I wouldn't know where to start since it is closed cooling and anti freeze is still full.
Did you pressure check the NEW header? If it broke once, it can break again.

I would go with the headers also, is it the forward engine, if so do you have supports between the transom and the engines for the the tail pipes, if not that could be why your having problems with the headers cracking. I believe fountain did'nt put the supports under the pipes on the earlier staggerd 42's.

cooling
Cant Standard automotive cooling system test tools work by pressurizing then moniter the guage if its a closed loop ? If its a open cooling system you can temperarly route hoses to seal it and test the oil cooler and the system ?
