I have used it in my diesels for several years, I hear its great stuff, I wouldnt be concerned about it in a boat motor either.

i've run it exclusively in my current engine. Engine builder who ought to know said is great oil for break in or long term. Recommended (for flat tapppet cams) putting additional zddp in it as even rotella is lowering content. If you want to go synthetic go castrol syntech or mobile one (or amsoil too...).

1440 ppm ZDP in Amsoil Motorcycle Oil

V-Twin 1650 ppm ZDP

I think Rotell is now an SM oil and is down to 800ppm ZDP.

I just put it in again in my 496 but I also put in a bottle of comp cams break oil. flat tappet cam and I have never had any problems

Bottle says API service CJ-4/SM (this was in the doughnut)

Bottle says meets PI Dervice CJ-4, CI-4 PLUS,CH-4, CG-4, CF-4/SM,SL,SJ
