Default Should I weld block

I burnt the the block between 2 cylinders on a blower motor has anyone had bad results from welding the block.

Call bill at ateco engines,he advertises here and has done many repairs on decks of 502's..if you dont have head studs now is a good time to invest in some..

what kind of block
if its stock it might not be worth it
you can usually find good condition used ones for a cheap price if you hunt around

We weld alot of blocks during the boat season, runs about 250.00, also if necessary we can even sleeve the block.

Had one welded once between cylinders, no issues runing turbos after.
