Default New power with vid

Finally got my new engine running on the stand. Still have to tear it down and get it painted, but it is nice to hear it run.

Nice sounding engine, got some cam in it,what are the internals and cam specs, sounds alot like my engine. Are the exhaust tips dry at the end or are you just dumping the water out the hoses a little bit in the video?nice job. What is that engine going in?

The valve cover breathers are a little unique. They were on another motor I bought, I dont like the way they look, but they are functional. The holes in the covers are drilled too big to cover them with anything else. I am going to try to find some hose that looks better to put on there if anyone has any ideas.

It is a hydraulic roller with .632 lift. Running flat top diamond pistons and merlin heads. Scat H-beam rods and a GM steel crank. Zero decked the block and some mild port cleanup on the heads. The exhaust is dry to the end, the bleed off from the side of the pipes goes overboard on each side of the boat when everything is together. It is suprising how often poeple ask me why water is shooting out the side of my boat, they think the bilge pump is running non-stop. The dry exhaust is far too load for my taste, but is is what I have and very pricey to replace so it stays.

I got started on the custom paint tonight, I will post pics when it is finished.

My boat is a older 24 ft baja sport, not the ideal hull, but the guy that had it before me had a custom paint job done, external hydraulic steering, replaced all the guages, through transom water pickup and sea strainer, and replace all the interior, so it is nicer then it sounds and has a lot of nice parts.

Default 532ci

Wow what a similar combination to my set up,i have a 509ci with diamond pistons,632 lift roller and it is also in an older 24 baja,it works awesome and is pretty awesome to drive, runs 80's all day,i would like the dry exhaust but already have cmi's with custom tails that cannot be used for dry and i am not spending anymore more money, cool videos.
