Default Difference between Gen V and gen VI 502

Could some one tell me the difference between gen V and Geen VI 502 engines

I have a 502 Gen V EFI that need a complete rebuild
(block, crank, rods and pistons) are not good.
I came across a Gen VI block and a crank,(all i need is pistons and rods). Will the rest of the components (heads, oil pan, and EFI system) work with the Gen VI block.

thank you

Everything will work fine. you will need a different timing cover and chain. oil pan , heads, and intake will work fine. I have a set of 4.53 forged srp flat tops that have less then 10hours with totals seal rings if you are interested. I also have a aluminum polished timing cover if you need it.
The gen 6 is a better block, most of the difference is internal with the oil system.
