Because its true,

And because I didn't pick a flat tappet cam to start....(I've had half a dozen different combos in the red boat in the last 16 years.)

Yup

Trick is to find a compromise between power/torque /reversion tendency /lift /duration/overlap/ overall valvetrain stress & maintenance/ Inches of manifold vacuum and a few other things....

Very simple...
