Question: power steering and external hydralic steering
Hi,
I'm thinking about installing an external hydraulic steering system (e.g. IMCO). I've never understood if these systems are made to work in combination with power steering assistance. If so, what components are used and how are they connected?

Couple ways of doing it. There's what's called an add on kit which uses your existing steering system pump and taps into the hydraulic slave cylnder out to the external rams. Then there's a full hydraulic system which employs a hydraulic helm, lines, pump and rams. It all depends on how much money your willing to part with as with anything else in this world.
