Fuel Supply for GEN5 block, after market?
I have a gen5 block and running an electric pump but I would like to get away from it, should I just get the Merc waterpump to run a mechanical pump or does anyone else make this type of set up, any part numbers would be helpful, 650hp Carb'ed

Just keep in mind that the water pump does not take a standard BBC fuel pump. The arm on the fuel pump that goes into the water pump is different than a BBC. You must use the correct pump. You can change the pump section to get more fuel flow, but you have to use the stock type upper housing. KE (Hardin Marine) makes a nice replacement pump section. Good luck.
