Default Converting Bolsters

Has anyone ever converted the early Formula fixed-bottom lean-into blosters to be movable? I'd like to be able to raise the bottom so you can actually sit on it when just cruising. The bottom section unbolts from the main bolster.

I'd rather not spend the cash for a new set of electric bolsters if I can find some way (manual is fine) to make these into movable units. The current lean-in position is fun for running, but I'd really like to be able to sit down when idling

Oh, come on Gregg, you couldn't be objecting to the suggested retail price of McLeod's bolsters ($5900-$6000 each), could you? They are pretty pricey, but nice!
good luck tho'
