everyone is thinking electrical, but it could be carb issue,it is not uncomin to flood carb when bouncing in rough conditions,it is due to the floats bouncing,it will last only for a second, then back to normal till the next big bounce.

I had a similar issue in my last boat, but I found it was due to my ATL fuel bladder. When I hit a wave hard, it would actually slightly collapse the bladder, and the fuel pickup hose would stick itself to the bottom. I had EFI, so it didn't matter what the throttle setting was; I was getting full fuel flow through the system whenever the pump was running. As you'd expect, the motor would die, because the pickup wouldn't unstick until the pump went off. Then, it would start right back up. Spooky until I figured out what it was. Then I built an additional bracket to hold the tank top plate in place.
This probably isn't happening if you don't have a bladder, but it just goes to show you that you can't rule anything out.
I'd guess if the motor is conking out right at the point of impact, you've got an electrical issue. I think the carb/fuel delivery issues would take a second or more to manifest themselves, and would produce a more gradual loss of power than an abrupt loss of ignition would.

I agree as well, I believe it is electrical, because it happens instantly, and comes right back. very abrupt. I am going to check out the main harness plugs pin fit, and all the other ideas put out there. No point in skipping over anything, because that might indeed be what the problem is.

Same issue with mine. The plug that goes to the rear of engine, pulled out and cleaned and spread pins apart and that fixed it.
