![Question](/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have just purchased a Powerquest 260sx with a 454 mag in it. It has a bravo one drive and had a 21 pitch BR1 prop. The boat went 62.1 on GPS at 5300 RPM. I have now installed a Procharger making 3.5 lbs of boost and a 28 pitch BR1 prop. The boat now runs 74.3 on GPS but at only 4600 RPM. Should I go to less prop to get some RPM back?

Get a 26 if you want to spend the $$ Otherwise send in the 28 to a prop guy and have it labbed and pitched down some. Between labbing (thinning) re pitching you could gain the RPM back. Staying arround 5000 RPM is not a bad idea anyhow.
