wont pass 1500 rpms and pops all over the place.

ok were do i start ..this is a new carb out the box. tuned on hose mistake number one.
as far as timing i dont know enough to elaborate.
but i will be able to tell you tommorrow having engine builder look at motor tommy from cheif engines. we willl know tommorrow.
