rods bluing
As I was getting my 502 ready for the water I found a leaky manifold witch lead to pulling engine and sending heads to the machine shop amongst other things that have made money fly out of my wallet. So hear is my question of the day. I have the motor tore down to a short block and have plasticaged the mains and all is in spec and bearings look good, but I found bluing on the tops of the connecting rods around the wrist pins on cyl # 2 and 4, side with bad manifold. I am out of money but really dont want to miss out on this summer. Can I run her until I gather the funds to replace with a fresh mo mo
Before I tore motor apart I had great oil pressure and the motor ran great.
thanks for you help
