Question Location of the EGT Sensor-Where???

Using stock Mercruiser exhaust manifolds, with thru hulls, where does one usually mount an EGT sensor??? I have searched (as well as ya' can in a cramped "twins" situation) everywhere on the manifolds and cannot find it. Where is it usually mounted? I have two sensors, one for each engine, only one gauge is working so I need to find the sensor to test it. This is a new boat to me, so I am learning new stuff (yes, it is "blown"). ?????? Any help???
