Default Engine Swap

Anyone swapped a 454/502 for one of the new 496's? Wondering what problems would be encountered with electronics, engine mounts and exhaust.

Mechanically I believe the exhaust is the only thing that is different. These are tall deck blocks and I think the ports are about 1/2" higher.

A friend of mine did it and got the motors fully rigged. They came with all the electronics, cooling system, the whole gig. He got the 496 HO motors and they specify that they must run open exhaust-no captain's call, no inserts. I'll tell ya, when 3 of those bad boys get going it is sweeett! And he picked up about 5 mph cruise and WOT over the 502 efi motors that were in there.
