Default 525 data download

I'm looking at a used Cig with 525's. Can anyone tell me if they store operating data that I can request from the seller (dealer) I was told many of the fuel injected motors have the ability to store rpm etc overtime and can be recalled. Comments welcomed. Dave

Have a survey done- part of the survey should be reading the ECM's off the engines, or hire a mercury tech to do an inspection and have him read them.

525's store time spent at given operating ranges, time spent on the rev limiter, time spent in guardian mode.

All resetable with a scan tool so if its at a lower total then the total hours question that to

Are you sure about that? I don't beleive you can reset the hours or history with the scan tool.
