suzuki water pump
i bought a 1987 suzuki TC-140 for $500. i think the only thing wrong with it is the water pump (there isn’t any water coming out of the discharge hole in the back). can someone tell me what’s involved in changing the water pump impellor? i’m assuming it’s in the bottom of the lower unit, are there seals involved? just how big of a job is it?
thank you,

Dean Before you install a water pump make sure the water discharge fitting is clear, push a wire in the fitting while running. That said, installing a water pump in your suzuki is no harder then a merc.If I remember the 140 shift disconects with a rod coupling above the mounting bolts for the lower unit.Every else is fairly easy. Good luck; Michael
